As an in-house email marketing team of one, I developed and produced a content strategy that appealed to residential, commercial and trade customers using segmented campaigns. The goal for most emails was to drive high-conversion traffic to strategic landing pages on SmartFurniture.com.
This process included keeping track of Smart Furniture’s promotional calendar including new product launches, giveaways, promotions for both smartfurniture.com & third-party vendors, and customer lifecycles.
Each email required mapping out merchandise and content pages to feature. After first establishing a strategy, I would then design and maintain custom, mobile-friendly templates that matched Smart Furniture’s pre-existing branding using Listrak. I would test template functionality across devices and email clients using Litmus. In order to keep track of monthly goals, I closely monitored email traffic, conversion rates, and click through rates using google analytics and listrak tracking.
